Hello everyone, I found these links quite helpful everyonereading.org they have links to handouts from their old conferences and it is quite a treasure trove.. http://debatepedia.idebate.org/en/index.php/Welcome_to_Debatepedia%21 great resource for structured debates and improving reading comprehension and steps for teaching phonics nrrf.org/phonicsprimer.doc and starfall.com had good phonics based stories for teaching reading in a fun and interactive way. if anyone is interested in apps for the ipad..i know some great ones..let me know if any teachers are interested.
